Keith has worked at Washington University since 2002, beginning in basic research in the Department of Pediatrics. Since then, he has held various administrative positions in Grants and Contracts, Pediatrics, Anesthesiology, and The Genome Institute. Most recently, Keith has been the Director of Finance and Administration of the Edison Family Center for Genome Sciences and Systems Biology for the last ten years. Keith is involved in many aspects of research administration at the university, including co-chair of the Research Reporting Committee, involvement in various medical school-wide projects and initiatives, and has been a member of the Specialized Training for Administrators of Research advisory committee since its inception in 2016. Keith has also been an active member of NCURA since 2010.
 
Keith holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Arizona State University in 1999 and a Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in strategy and finance from Olin Business School at Washington University in 2006. He also earned the Certified Research Administrator (CRA) designation in 2012.
