Natalie Goodwin-Frank is the Director of Research Development & Admin. for the School of Engineering & Applied Science. Her current position combines pre- and post-award as well as strategy with responsibilities such as supporting cross-discipline proposals; providing administrative and compliance oversight to funded research; and, preparing research and analyses to inform strategic planning. Previously, she was the Operations and Grants Manager for a Department of Energy-funded center grant. Natalie initially joined Washington University in 2006 as the Funding Resources Coordinator for the Office of Sponsored Research Services. Prior to her university experience, she was a liaison for the Correspondent Research Department at Stifel Nicolaus. Natalie also spent nine years as an adjunct instructor for the business division at McKendree University. Natalie holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Quincy University and a master of business administration from Eastern Illinois University. She is an active member of the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA), and is a certified research administrator (CRA). In her spare time, Natalie enjoys traveling with her husband, daughter, and twin toddlers.
