Amanda Heitkoetter is currently a Business Analyst on the Workday Finance Support Team for Grants, Gifts & Endowments. Amanda started at Washington University in 2005 with the Department of Developmental Biology processing post award expenses while also processing weekly grant reports for faculty. In 2007, she was promoted to Special Projects Administrator within Developmental Biology where she handled pre- and post-award processes for 7 faculty labs. She held the title of Financial and Grants Specialist within the School of Arts & Sciences from 2013 – 2020, which combined the pre- and post-award process for multiple departments. From 2020-2022, she was a Research Administrator in the Division of Cardiology in the Department of Medicine, which also combined the pre- and post-award process for multiple faculty members, while also managing a team of grant specialists. Amanda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Management Information System from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, School of Business and is a Certified Research Administrator (CRA). In her spare time, Amanda enjoys traveling with her husband and dog, beekeeping, and crafting.
