Cherie Moore is the Business Manager for the Department of Genetics. She has been with Washington University since 1995 starting in the Department of Radiology followed by 4 years with the CFU. She moved to the Medical School Budget Office for 5 years and then to the Department of Genetics where she has been for 12 years. Having experience in both central and department areas has provided Cherie with a wide breadth of experience and knowledge. As Business Manager she manages the Department of Genetics financial, grant administration, HR and purchasing functions in addition to having responsibility for multiple recharge centers with over $13M in annual internal/external revenues.
Cherie is a graduate of Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio with a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and Finance. She has completed her CPA certification.
