SENIOR RESEARCH ADMINISTRATOR, DEPARTMENT OF BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING

Glen Reitz has been at Washington University since 1988 and is the Senior Department Administrator in Biomedical Engineering. Prior to joining BME, Glen worked in the School of Social Work, Ophthalmology and Sponsored Projects Accounting. In his departmental role, he is responsible for both pre- and post-award administration which includes proposal submissions to NSF, NIH, DOE, AHA and many smaller foundation grants. He has served on several university committees which include Faculty Financial Reporting; Uniform Guidance Subrecipient Risk Assessment Task Force; Research Reporting and PAAMCO; Glen is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia and the University of MO – St. Louis (UMSL) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and a degree in Economics. Glen has been a Certified Research Administrator (CRA) since June 2014. Outside of work, Glen enjoys reading and collecting books (mainly Stephen King).
